Among the top level business
organizations in Bangladesh Rangpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry has played
pioneer role in spreading education by establishing RCCI Public school,
Rangpur in 1996. Basically, due to social responsibilities along with
economical and business purposes, this educational institution has been
established for promoting quality and standard form of education. However, a
proposal was accepted in 1995 to establish an educational institution under the
leadership of Rahim Uddin Varosa, former President of Rangpur chamber of
commerce and Industry, and renowned industrialist, and former MP. In that
meeting, he created a found by donating 1,00,000/- (One lakh) taka for this
purpose. It started in 1996 at a rented house named "Darodi Building"
at Central Road.
Eminent business person Al-haz Golam Mostofa, former president of Rangpur
Chamber of Commerce and Industry was the founder President and Prof. Dr.
Mohammad Rezaul Haque was the founder. Principal. The foundation was laid by
Salman F Rahman, former president of FBCCI in its own land at East
Shalbon, Begum Rokeya Swarani, Rangpur in 1996. It encompasses 87
decimal of land funded by Rnagpur chamber authority. It's environment is
beautiful, free from din and bustle of the city.
The Institution got government approval for junior
section in 2000, secondary section in 2001 and higher secondary section 2003
and was recognized as RCCI
Public school and
College, Rangpur. Obviously, the institution is governed by a special committee
led by the president, Rangpur chamber of commerce and Industry. The students
first appeared in the SSC exam in 2003 and HSC exam 2005. From the very
beginning the passing rate was 100% and it is continued. Since them passing
rate has never come down below 98%. It got position in top ten in 2008 in Rajshahi secondary
and higher secondary education board for securing 100% in the ssc exam.

Chowdhury Babu, A.Τ.Μ Shahnewaz Bablu, Md. Abul Kashem, Mostofa Shohrab
Chowdhury Titu, Md Akbar Ali, were the former
Presidents of this institution. They Played a great role for its overall
development during their respective duration. Prof. Muhammed Abdul Jalil, K.M
Hasinur Rahman, Masud Ahmmed Haider were the former principals of this
institution. At present Md Emdadul Hossen is the chairperson of this
institution. and he is the president of Rangpur Chamber of Commerce &
Industry, Rangpur.
The spectacular Five Storied
Building has been built
with the donation of the businessmen, social workers, banks, donors of this
region. Amongst them, eminent social worker, industrialist and donor Al-haz
Motahar Hossain Chowdhury, Exim Bank, Indian High Commission of Bangladesh, the
chief leaders of FBCCI, Rotarians are notable.
Ensuring quality and standard form of education is the
vision of this institution. Governing authority, Teachers and employees are
discharging their services honestly, sincerely and responsibly from the early
stage of this institution. As a result, many creative, promising and talented
students have passed from this institution and have studied in all the famous
public Universities and institutions of our country and aboard. At the same
time they have proved their abilities and have become successful in their
respective places and it's still going on. It is noted that two meritorious
students of this institution are teachers of Dhaka University.
Stipend from a Japanese organization and Indian High commission of Bangladesh
have played a great role in paving the path of education many of the students
of this institution.
Rangpur Chambers of commerce and Industry Public school
and college is the new name of this institution. There are 67 Teachers, 38
Staffs and 2100 Students in this institution. Academic activity is run from
Nursery to Higher secondary level. There are 75 rooms, enriched physics,
chemistry, biology and ICT Laboratories, Multimedia class rooms well equipped
library are here. Secondary level has been brought under MPO in 2010 and Higher
secondary level in 2019. Along with academic activities, co-curricular
activities, religious activities, observing national days are given priorities
for the overall development of the students. Transport facility is available.
All time security is ensured with CC Camera and manually. Primary medical
treatment is available.
Due to patronizing quality and standard form of
education according to national curriculum, many worthy, skilled and competent
students passing from this institution are discharging benevolent service to
family, the nation and the society and even abroad. This institution has influenced
greatly in economical, social and cultural development of it's surroundings.
It is hoped that this institution will play a great
role in building up Smart Bangladesh.
